Can you believe it is September already! My goodness, it will be Christmas before we can “Discover Science.”

This “Discover Science” kit (for ages 10 and up) produces magical crystal clusters that last forever (well, they are water soluble so “forever” if you keep them out of water). More time consuming than the Volcano science experiment, a degree of patience and curiosity needs to be used across a two week period while the crystals grow, grow and grow.

The full grown Crystals have a quartz like appearance similar to those shown in the picture. My eleven year old son and I made these too and he has added them to his rock collection as a precious symbol of his life at home.  Kit includes two sachets of mono ammonium phosphate and growing container.
