A set of Aussie Animal Finger puppets should be nice for me. A souvenir of Australia is always welcome and I like the animals in Australia especially the koalas and the kangaroos but I don’t expect you can give me a real koala.
So maybe I have a chance for a Aussie animal Finger puppet.
Good idea Megan

August 9th, 2007 at 3:56 pm
These puppets would be a wonderful addition to our service as one of our roles is to teach children protective behaviours and have some fun doing this!
August 9th, 2007 at 3:58 pm
Thanks for the great ideas for having fun whilst teaching children about some important issues - staying safe!
August 9th, 2007 at 4:44 pm
Dear Megan
Hi, what are you teaching these kids with these puppets, you stick your finger where?
And the puppet is OK with that!
Oh it’s only a puppet, not real life, maybe I’m too literal.
Maybe in sand pit play, you could let the child broach the subjects that arise you having your finger up a Koala’s …………
No worries Richard.

Wonderful resource, would love to use them in counselling.
August 9th, 2007 at 9:40 pm
Dear Megan,
Excellent idea about using puppets to engage children in discussing these issues. I love your passion and positive approach to a subject that is not always a comfortable one for many people. By incorporating puppets, you are allowing everyone to discuss protective behaviours in a safe and interactive way.
Well done! Love your work!
Cheers,
Jenni
